2014 Tricycle update

img_0015.jpgDearest Tricycle Zine Distro friends and visitors,

2013 was a bit of a crazy year, which meant a very quiet year for the distro. Tricycle is not doing zine fairs these days, but still taking orders. Hopefully the site is acting as a good resource for folks in spite of the lack of updates. With some luck this year may bring more activity and some new zines to the distro! I can hear Building Blocs #4 calling…

Building Blocs Zine interviewed in Australian Anarchist Zine “Mutiny #65”

“Mutiny Zine talks to Lara Daley, who puts out a radical parenting zine called Building Blocs. Lara talks about the importance of both a politics of care and of multigenerational spaces instead of age-segregated ones. She contrasts the idea of a community-in-construction and a movement-in-emergence to the common reference to an already existing movement or radical community, which can obscure problems within activist groups and networks. We hope that this encourages readers to not only relate these themes to parenting, but to consider their importance as part of the broader project of building radicalism in Australia and overseas.”
